Terms of Service
Last updated: 19 May 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ImpliedData ("Service"), operated by Michał Majkowski ("we", "us", or "our"), based in Poland. By creating an account or accessing the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Description of Service
ImpliedData provides historical prediction-market data — including trades, candles, and market metadata — sourced from Polymarket, Manifold and Myriad. Data is made available for download in Parquet and CSV formats, free of charge.
2. No Charges
ImpliedData is a free, non-commercial project. The Service is not sold: we do not offer plans or subscriptions, we do not operate a checkout, and we do not request, collect or accept payment, card details or any other financial information from you. Nothing in these Terms creates a payment obligation of any kind.
3. Acceptable Use and Licence
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the data for your own research, analysis, and personal or internal commercial purposes.
You may not:
- Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or publicly share raw data files or derivative datasets to third parties without our prior written permission.
- Use the data to build a competing data-distribution product or service.
- Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service beyond normal API and download usage.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or the terms of service of the underlying prediction-market platforms (Polymarket, Manifold).
4. Data Accuracy and Warranties
Data is sourced from public APIs and third-party datasets. For business customers, the data and Service are provided "as is", with no warranty, express or implied, regarding accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for a particular purpose, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Consumers — statutory conformity. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes the mandatory conformity rights of consumers for digital content and digital services under the Polish Consumer Rights Act (Art. 43h–43q) and Directive (EU) 2019/770. If data we supply to a consumer is materially defective or does not conform to what was described, the consumer's statutory remedies apply.
You are solely responsible for verifying data quality before relying on it for trading, investment, or other decisions.
5. Intellectual Property
The ImpliedData platform, software, and documentation are our intellectual property. Underlying prediction-market data originates from third-party platforms and is subject to their respective terms. Attribution requirements for third-party datasets (e.g. the Becker dataset, MIT licence) are displayed on our Data Sources page and in the X-Data-Attribution API response header.
6. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. Upon termination you lose access to the Service and any data you have not yet downloaded.
7. Limitation of Liability
For business customers, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law — the Service is supplied free of charge and no consideration is received for it — and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law — including liability for death or personal injury, for intentional misconduct or gross negligence (wina umyślna / rażące niedbalstwo), or a consumer's mandatory statutory rights.
8. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. For business customers, the courts of Poland have exclusive jurisdiction.
Consumers. This choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence (Art. 6 Rome I Regulation). As an EU consumer you may bring proceedings against us, and may be sued by us, only in the courts of your country of domicile (Arts. 17–19 Brussels I bis Regulation). Complaints can be raised at any time by email to [email protected].
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the Service at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
